In Memory Of: Nagi Noda.

While checking out the directors for several videos of the Vids 2.0 chart, I visited one of my frequent websites, and discovered a little trivia about someone I barely even knew about. And she’s dead.

Cut Copy was featured previously before, with “Lights And Music” and “Hearts On Fire”. The director, for the latter video, is Nagi Noda. Over the September 6-7, 2008, the same last week before I O-R-D, she passed away, at the tender age of 35, due to “surgical complications from injuries sustained in a traffic accident the previous year”, as according to Wikipedia’s entry on Nagi Noda. Her last video, coincidentally, is that video mentioned as above.

Check out her website: http://www.uchu-country.com/

And in tribute, below are several of her directed videos, not forgetting the last of her works:

“I Love Your Face” by Ogiyahagi

Coca-Cola World Campaign 2006 (with Jack White)

“She’s My Man” by Scissor Sisters

“Far From Home” by Tiga

“Hearts On Fire” by Cut Copy (her last work)
