Not Fair
Lily Allen
It’s Not Me, It’s You

Never the one shy with blunt, in-yer-face words, Lily Allen kicks back into the business with her second album offering after a little Elton John dissing at the GQ Men Of The Year Awards in 2008.

Though some may find her voice unbearable, it’s the lyrics that really soars in cases. “The Fear” touches on the fear of the superficial celebrity lifestyle and society today. “Not Fair”, though seemingly friendly pop, is all about the quick sexual performance (cums too quickly) of a boyfriend whom couldn’t please her, make her scream.

Now that’s intelligent pop, and Jessica Simpson may rethink about her country roots, and just go: “Why didn’t I think about that? I could have wrote about Nick’s *****.”
