How do you allow someone else, another source to touch, feel you?
All the goosebumps; the feeling of another being’s hand
the butterflies in the stomach,
leaving unseen fingerprints linger all over you, your body;

Is there a form, forms to sign,
to verify, proofread all the terms and conditions;
to authorize upon, to authenticate;
to provide all your basic information,
just in case of emergency.

One pull to reveal it all,
the privacy;
the pubic hairs;
the vagina;
the penis slips out;
the sensitive side;
the other side;
the soft spots,
Why are we covered up this way?

The silence thereafter,
or the conversationalist’s conversations,
what are we looking for?
A night of casual fun,
a lifelong companion,
or just to get by?

The fights,
the quarrels,
the loveydovey actions;
the revelations,
the initmacy;
the boredom is killing me.

What is this thing called love?
Do anyone have the answer?
Or are we just lost souls?
